They must have the ability to:Technically evaluate electrical design documentation against Electrical and client standards.Create and issue electrical reports.Effectively use BIM360 / Navis as part of engineering activities.Redline documentation for site use.Develop cable schedules and construction work packs.Perform/Validate cable size calculations (Trimble or other).Perform/Validate containment capacity studies.Attend FATs and SATs.Identify equipment and materials which are long lead items.Identify value engineering (VE) opportunities.Provide technical expertise and support across complex problem-solving situations.Demonstrate knowledge of Electrical Standards and Systems – below examples are not exhaustive:Medium and Low Voltage NetworksElectrical Switchgear and Power DistributionInstrumentation and control systems (BMS/PAS/EAS/PMS)Containment Systems and applications (Ladder/Tray/Basket/Trunking/Hycon)Life Safety Systems (Fire Alarm/Disabled Refugee/Smoke Vent etc)Security and Access ControlUPS SystemsEmergency Lighting and Central Battery Systems.Gas DetectionData & ITEarthing and Lightning ProtectionCross System Electrical IntegrationImplementing Quality procedures and processes on a construction projectTechnical submittalsFirst of KindsRFIsHost Electrical Workshops to advance Design / Construction IssuesCandidate Key Skills Required:Electrical Engineering degreeMicrosoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc)Excellent communication skills - Candidate must communicate and engage effectively with clients and team members.Ability to work autonomously and/or as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
