The Senior Electrician oversees maintenance planning, scheduling, and completion of reactive and preventative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and completion of reactive and preventative tasks.
- Ensure consistent maintenance practices across the site and share best practices.
- Lead problem-solving efforts using data and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
- Act as the main point of contact for maintenance, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with teams to prioritize maintenance activities.
- Supervise and coach the maintenance team with a hands-on approach.
- Promote Health and Safety practices and safe systems of work.
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and regulations.
- Leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate the team.
- Quick problem solver for complex breakdowns.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems.
Requirements:
- Relevant level 6 Electrical trade.
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with controls, PLCs, and automated equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
