Senior Electrician (Permanent) Location: Limerick Position: Permanent Job Overview: The Senior Electrician oversees all maintenance activities to ensure equipment is well- maintained, available, and compliant with standards. This role manages daily maintenance workflows and supports a safe, efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and completion of reactive and preventative tasks. Ensure consistent maintenance practices across the site and share best practices. Lead problem-solving efforts using data and root cause analysis for continuous improvement. Act as the main point of contact for maintenance, escalating issues when necessary. Collaborate with teams to prioritize maintenance activities. Supervise and coach the maintenance team with a hands-on approach. Promote Health and Safety practices and safe systems of work. Skills s Attributes: Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally in manufacturing. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and regulations. Leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate the team. Quick problem solver for complex breakdowns. Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems. Requirements: Relevant level 6 Electrical trade. 5+ years' experience in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with controls, PLCs, and automated equipment.
