A leading M&E engineering consultancy seeks a Senior Energy and Sustainability Engineer to manage energy-related projects and improve energy efficiency. Our Client is a multi-office engineering consultancy providing design and project management services on large-scale projects. They are seeking a Senior Energy and Sustainability Engineer to join their team in Cork City. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the Energy & Sustainability Engineering for all projects, ensuring project performance and profitability. * Manage subcontractors and coordinate dynamic thermal modelling analysis. * Undertake studies related to BREEAM Credits, including thermal comfort and low-carbon technologies. * Prepare Energy & Sustainability Statements for developments and coordinate contributions from design team stakeholders. * Support bidding for new opportunities and contribute to marketing material. * Undertake domestic and non-domestic EPCs for new and existing buildings. * Lead change in new systems and technologies. * Mentor and develop less experienced Engineers. * Travel to client and project locations as required. Requirements: * Degree level qualification in the built environment with proven performance in Sustainability. * Active Accreditation in LEED, BREEAM, or WELL. * Basic technical knowledge across disciplines. * Ability to identify, manage, and measure Key Performance Indicators. * Public speaking skills and familiarity with energy and environmental performance. * Experience with team management, resources, and time. * Salary: €55k - €65k per year, hybrid flexibility, and company benefits. * Career Progression, international project opportunities, and a culture of Continuous Feedback.
