Role: Senior Energy Engineer Remote Role Overview Our client is a dynamic company focused on reducing energy costs and usage. They are seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to join their team, leading the charge on conducting large-scale commercial energy efficiency feasibility studies and overseeing the auditing team. The successful candidate will be a key part of the team and will have strong knowledge in building services, M&V and ideally with IPMVP/CEM qualifications. Responsibilities Performing comprehensive energy audits and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, in alignment with industry standards like SI426, ESG, ISO 50001, and ISO 14001. Coordinating with contractors for site visits and obtaining accurate project quotations. Developing financial justifications and presenting project proposals to clients. Engaging directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships. Guiding, mentoring, and supporting junior energy engineers. Delivering engaging training to junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Energy, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in building services, measurement and verification (M&V), and energy efficiency. IPMVP (International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol) and/or CEM (Certified Energy Manager) certification. Demonstrated track record in renewable energy, energy management, and energy audits. Strong attention to detail, excellent client management skills. Proactive, self-driven, adaptable, with excellent communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Leadership and management skills, interested in training developing junior engineers.
