Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland’s largest Irish owned consultants with centres of excellence in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment and Renewables. FT provides design and contract management services for the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridgeworks, rail, solid waste facilities, renewable energy, drainage, water and wastewater treatment facilities, airports, tunnels and gas pipelines.FT is recruiting a Senior Engineer whom will work as an integral member of the Circular Economy and Environment team in the Cork, Dublin or Carlow office, aiding the expansion of the business and working closely with fellow professionals. This position offers exposure to a broad range of areas within the Waste & Resource Management and Environment sector.FT's ResponsibilitiesEnsure projects are delivered to the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the clientPlanning and managing CAD documentation of design work, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering TechniciansAttend onsite meetings with the client and other professionalsEnsure compliance with our Quality Assurance and Management SystemsEnsure compliance with the relevant health and safety legislationCoordinating his/her work with other members of the project teamSkills / QualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering8 years post-graduate experienceExperience in Project ManagingProficient in Environmental Impact Assessment ManagementCandidate should be a high-energy professionalExcellent communication, organisation and analytical skills requiredExperience of engaging with external stakeholder, clients, sub-contractorsFlexible and a good team playerWorks efficiently and on own initiativeAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate including a competitive salary, shorter working Friday, medical benefit and professional body support.
