Senior Engineer Required for West Dublin Project
Experienced Senior Engineer sought to support project completion in West Dublin, collaborating with Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure project scope is managed through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure project scope is managed through to completion.
- Excellent knowledge of house building and infrastructure works.
- Use of Auto CAD essential for uploading as-built's and measuring monthly valuations.
- Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and in-house quantity surveyors in reviewing monthly valuations.
- Assume day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements.
- Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.
- Build relationships with the team to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained to the highest possible level.
Requirements:
- Hold relevant construction/engineering qualification.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental workings.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Use of Auto CAD and a document control management system.
- Knowledge of the BCAR process specific to housing.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Self-motivated and hard worker.
- Strong team building skills.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
