Job Description
Senior Engineer sought for Project in West Dublin, supporting Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure project scope is managed through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure project scope is managed through to completion.
- Good knowledge of house building and infrastructure works.
- Use of Auto CAD essential for uploading as-built's and measuring monthly valuations.
- Liaising with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and in-house quantity surveyors in reviewing monthly valuations.
- Assuming day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Design Team Workshops, etc.).
- Ensuring quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.
- Building relationships with the team (sub-contractors and direct) to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensuring safety and compliance standards are maintained to the highest possible.
Requirements:
- Holding a relevant construction/engineering qualification.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental workings.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Use of Auto CAD and a document control management system (Procore, Zutec) is essential.
- Knowledge of the BCAR process specific to housing.
- Irish Water Safety File collating.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
