PURPOSE OF JOBDue to continued expansion of the End User Computing team and the continued deployment of Microsoft SCCM & Intune (MEMCM) within the enterprise a position has become available.
The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering solutions using platforms such as SCCM/Intune, JAMF and other End user computing platforms.
The post holder will be required to engage with Business users and other teams across the enterprise to ensure that the platform meets the requirements of the organization.
The Senior Engineer role will require liaison with other solutions trains, IT stakeholders, Security and other users.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWork with the existing team to ensure the platform is highly available Implement new platforms with architecture Work with the team to evolve the platform and implement recommendations Scale the existing platform to support the enterprise Provide training to Service desk & site support team members Act as a point of escalation for other support teams Work with stakeholders to identify their needs Continue to stay up to date with new technologies Ensure a seamless user experience across the platform Involvement in planning Experience, Education and Skills: Required:5 years of experience working on SCCM/Intune in an enterprise environment5 years of experience in Power Shell Ability to manage and maintain: Collections, Site System role deployments including DP & PXEBoundary Management Intune & Co Management Strong Cyber Security Design and Engineering Skillset essential Knowledgeable across multiple cybersecurity tools and features pertaining to end-user computing devices.
Ability to partake and lead on cross collaboration team meetings Windows Server OS troubleshooting SQL server troubleshooting & maintenance Software patch management & client support Advanced Power Shell and other scripting experience considered highly advantageous Desirable: Reporting with Power BIExperience with Zero Trust framework Autopilot Experience with MDM Platforms Intune Citrix Endpoint Management Nexthink Knowledge of Agile/Scrum management practices Understanding of Dev Ops concepts Systems integration experience Strong Troubleshooting Skills SAFe Agile Experience in managing requirements in a fast-paced and changing business environment.
Experience of working effectively within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.Excellent Communication Skills.
