Job Description
Senior Site Engineer role in Carrigtwohill, Cork, for a leading tier-1 main contractor with a turnover of €600 M, working on a Life Science/Pharma project.
The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the construction management team in the on-site control of building elements, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising setting out engineers and checking dimensions prior to concrete pours
- Maintaining materials reconciliation files and checking plans and drawings for accuracy
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients, and other professionals
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety on site
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years' experience as a Site Engineer with a Main Contractor, preferably in Pharma/Life Science
- Experience using setting out equipment, such as total station, GPS, and laser levels
- Knowledge of temporary works coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
