ATG are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer specializing in High Voltage (HV) and Substation Design to join a very exciting team in North Dublin.
The successful candidate will lead the design and development of HV substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
This role involves overseeing technical aspects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing design deliverables for large-scale energy projects.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design of HV substations, including layout, equipment selection, and protection systems Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and utility companies Oversee project timelines, budgets, and design quality Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support teams Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field7+ years of experience in HV and substation design Proficiency in Auto CAD, ETAP, and electrical design software Strong knowledge of IEC standards and grid codes Salary: €65,000 to €70,000
