Job Description
Senior Engineer required to join a leading main contractor, specialising in housing projects across South Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to work with one of Irelands top contractors, delivering high-quality residential developments in South Dublin.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Take ownership of Health and Safety on site.
- Review design drawings, raise RFIs, and participate in Design Team Meetings to resolve design issues.
- Communicate approved technical submittals to trade and finishing teams.
- Monitor project timelines, provide weekly progress reports.
- Ensure quality control of subcontractor work, complying with Building Regulations, design documents, and applicable standards.
- Conduct continuous inspections.
- Lead implementation of the internal quality management system and quality assurance policies.
- Champion project management systems and BCAR compliance.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors to meet budget and quality expectations.
- Lead Temporary Works Management, manage third-party stakeholders, and mentor direct reports.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Level 8 Engineering qualification.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail, meeting demanding time and quality targets.
