Senior Engineer required to join a leading main contractor, specialising in housing projects across South Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to work with one of Irelands top contractors, delivering high-quality residential developments in South Dublin. Role: Take ownership of Health and Safety on site. Review design drawings, raise RFIs, and actively participate in Design Team Meetings to resolve outstanding design issues. Communicate approved technical submittals to trade and finishing teams. Monitor project timelines, provide weekly progress reports. Ensure quality control of subcontractor work, making sure it complies with Building Regulations, design documents, and applicable standards. Conduct continuous inspections. Lead implementation of the internal quality management system and ensure quality assurance policies are followed. Champion the use of project management systems (e.g., Zutec) and ensure BCAR compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to meet budget and quality expectations. Lead the Temporary Works Management process and manage third-party stakeholders, including Irish Water, ESB, and local authorities. Manage and mentor direct reports and the engineering team, providing leadership and development opportunities. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. Level 8 Engineering qualification (HETAC). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.
