Laois Salary €55K - €65K + package inc. vehicle About the Company Exciting new opportunity for an engineer who is looking for long-term work in the Laois/ Kilkenny/ Carlow areas. My client is keen to chat to Engineers with 4+ years experience working with a Main Building Contractor in Ireland- Must have experience dealing with local authorities e.g. Irish Water The successful candidate will be working alongside a well-established site team on a range of commercial projects & new build residential developments. This is a new role with the company due to steady and consistent growth with multiple new projects starting in Q1 as well. Applicants must have experience with all aspects of setting outfor residential siteand be comfortable with ordering concrete and AutoCAD. The Role Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations. Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard. Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project. Ensure H&S standards are met and adhered to on site. Support the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard. Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel. Requirements A Degree in Engineering or related discipline. 4+ Experience with a Main Contractor in ROI Experience setting out for multistorey structures. Must have experience dealing with Irish Water Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
