Role: Senior Engineer Client: Main Building Contractor Industry: Construction (Healthcare) Location: Longford Base: On Site Salary: €75K - €85K (DOE) + Vehicle/Allowance + Pension Reports To: Contracts Manager Overview: A Main Contractor client of ours is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will manage technical aspects of a healthcare facility construction project, ensuring quality, safety, and engineering standards are met. This dynamic role involves overseeing engineering execution, working closely with project teams, and reporting to the Contracts Manager. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all technical aspects of the project. Liaise with design, commercial, and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution. Implement engineering plans, monitor site progress, and provide solutions for any technical challenges. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Manage and oversee subcontractors and ensure work quality. Maintain communication with site teams and report progress to senior management. Provide engineering support throughout the construction process. Ideal Candidate: Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction engineering. Strong technical knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and safety standards. Proven experience in managing complex engineering aspects of construction projects. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple engineering teams. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
