AA Euro Group has been retained to recruit a Senior Engineer for our client, a leading construction company in Ireland.
They are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their Cork project on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineer to progress into a managerial role with a well-renowned construction company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a top-tier contractor along with reinforced concrete experience.
The Role:
- Responsible for Site Engineers and supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project.
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Checking plans, drawings, and supervision of setting out coordination.
- Calling off reinforcement and ordering rebar from schedules.
- Responsible for setting out and leveling of sites.
- Overall surveying of sites.
- Plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met.
- Oversee quality control and safety measures on sites.
- Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and deal with any problems that arise.
- Supervise and monitor the site labor force and liaise with subcontractors.
- Maintain high standards at all times.
Requirements:
- 3rd level qualification in Engineering.
- Strong technical ability and management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and calmness under pressure.
- Ability to integrate well as part of a well-run team.
- Commercial awareness.
- Over 5 years of experience working in the industry.
- Desire to progress your career over a short timeframe.
