Senior Engineer - Main Contractor - Cork
AA Euro Group has been retained to recruit a Senior Engineer for our client, a leading construction company in Ireland.
They are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their Cork project on a permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineer to progress into a managerial role with a well-renowned construction company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a top-tier contractor along with reinforced concrete experience.The Role:
Responsible for Site Engineers and supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project.
Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
Checking plans, drawings, and supervision of setting out coordination.
Calling off reinforcement and ordering rebar from schedules.
Responsible for setting out and leveling of sites.
Overall surveying of sites.
Plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met.
Oversee quality control and safety measures on sites.
Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and deal with any problems that arise.
Supervise and monitor the site labor force and liaise with subcontractors.
Maintain high standards at all times.

Requirements:
3rd level qualification in Engineering.
Strong technical ability and management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and calmness under pressure.
Ability to integrate well as part of a well-run team.
Commercial awareness.
Over 5 years of experience working in the industry.
Desire to progress your career over a short timeframe.
