**Senior Estimator Role** A senior estimator is required to work on a permanent basis in an office-based environment, producing detailed and competitive tender submissions for a main construction contractor with projects in Munster and nationwide.

**Job Description** * The successful candidate will work on their own initiative, but proactively within the estimating team to produce detailed and competitive tender submissions. * The candidate must have prior experience in tendering projects ranging from €1m up to €100m. * The candidate is required to work within a highly motivated team, delivering both Design & Build and Traditional tenders covering a diverse range of projects. * The Senior Estimator will be responsible for presenting the draft tender commercial appraisal for review and signoff by the company directors. * The role involves reviewing tender documentation, managing tender bids, and liaising with senior management. * The successful candidate will have a third-level qualification in engineering, construction, quantity surveying, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience within the Irish construction market. * The candidate will have good knowledge of subcontractors, construction outputs, and of labour, plant, and material prices. * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, as well as the ability to work as part of a team, are essential for this role. * The candidate will be required to manage tender documentation and be punctual with reports. * Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, and ideally some experience of estimating software, are required. * The package for this role is €70 K - €85 K, depending on experience.
