Senior Estimator sought for a reputable construction company in Dublin, assisting with commercial team and projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe.
Reporting to superiors, the successful candidate will work closely with contracts managers and site managers to ensure effective undertaking of estimating duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing initial inquiries and preparing tender submissions
- Managing and controlling costs on projects
- Reviewing and approving invoices/orders
- Preparing take offs and estimates
- Negotiating best quotes from subcontractors/suppliers
- Liaising with project teams and clients
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Highly motivated and hard-working individual
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Great communication skills
- 7+ years experience in construction in a similar role
