Senior Estimator Kildare TalentCurveRecruitment The Company An extremely reputable construction company in Dublin are looking for a well experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and assist them on their current and upcoming projects! The Role Reporting to the superiors you will work closely with all areas of the business (including the contracts managers and site managers) ensuring the effective undertaking of estimating duties. Process initial inquiries and preparing tender submissions. Manage and control costs on projects and prepare cost value comparisons and projected final accounts. Review, approve, sign off weekly / monthly labour, sub-contractor and materials invoices/orders. Prepare take offs and undertake estimates and final account settlements. Researching, sourcing and negotiating best quotes from subcontractors /suppliers. Liaising with key members of the project team and liaising with clients and subcontractors Prepare take offs and undertake estimates and final account settlements. Mark up enquiries to be sent out to the supply chain, organise bills of quantities production and obtain material quotes where necessary Monitor sub-contractor performance and record additional works for presentation to project teams.
