Job Description
Seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead tender submissions and commercial appraisals for a main construction contractor with projects in Munster and nationwide. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in tendering projects up to €100m, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of subcontractors, construction outputs, and labour, plant, and material prices. Key responsibilities include reviewing tender documentation, issuing enquiries to supply chain, and analysing supplier and subcontract packages. The successful candidate will work in a highly motivated team, delivering Design & Build and Traditional tenders covering a diverse range of projects. The company offers a competitive salary of €70 K - €85 K and excellent company benefits. Requirements include a third-level qualification in engineering, construction, quantity surveying or a related field, and good understanding of data analysis methods. The ideal candidate is able to manage tender documentation, work as part of a team, and liaise with senior management. The successful candidate will also have good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, and ideally some experience of estimating software, Causeway or similar.
