We have an exciting opportunity for an Extended Range Manager to join our Extended Range team. Extended Range is a digital only range of 3rd party products and services that Musgrave offers to its customers alongside our core range. Our ambition is to create a true one stop shopping experience for our customers, and we are looking for dynamic and motivated individual to help us bring this ambition to life. Reporting to the Category Manager, the Extended Range Manager will lead the new Extended Range categories and the relationships with associated suppliers, including the negotiation of commercial agreements. The role will also involve owning the execution of and driving the strategy on product, category management, seller acquisition, and growth plans. The key responsibilities of the role are (not limited to): Lead, manage and mentor a team of 3 people Develop and implement the strategic vision for Extended Range Work closely with senior stakeholders to align on this vision and direction Articulate a clear proposition to both internal and external stakeholders - work closely with Marketing teams to raise awareness of Extended Range A thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings. Use data and insights to identify gaps and opportunities and using this build and implement strategies to increase the performance of Extended Range Manage relationships, negotiations, and business plans for all Extended Range suppliers Manage revenue, margin and profitability of Extended Range Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across all teams Experience, Skills & Education The successful candidate will have/be: Passionate about e-Commerce within Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice Experience of building and delivering plans aligned to a strategy Experience working in a fast-moving and pressured environment and can manage projects on time and to budget/Forecast Strong analytical and numerical capabilities and can plan and make recommendations based on data and insight Experience working with an online retailer and using online analytics Experience in buying or trading positions Good negotiator, able to satisfy varying needs in the face of conflicting demands Strong planning and prioritizing skills to deliver plans to deadline High level of customer focus and can work collaboratively with others Ability to anticipate next steps and future risks and opportunities within your area, taking actions to address them in the absence of a given structure Effective communicator and can build trust to execute an agenda Desirable: Knowledge of the Irish and UK industry a distinct advantage Sound category management experience in the retail / wholesaletrade.
