Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to oversee maintenance, design, and operational aspects of our facilities in Cavan.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and improvement projects.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to facility systems promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related needs and projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software or other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
