Job Description A great opportunity for a Senior Facilities Engineer to be a part of a fast-paced growing team. Experience with AHU's, chillers, steam boilers, pumps, HVAC, and water system management is essential. Senior Facilities Engineer Main responsibilities: Provision of technical support and escalation point for all facilities equipment, building services, and general plant engineering. Ensure all plant equipment is maintained in a safe manner, with task-based risk assessments and/or safe plan of action in place for all plant maintenance tasks. Coordination and Management of Facilities Service contractors on site, ensuring clear plans are in place and contractors follow EHS and GMP standards. Ensure plant facilities are maintained and inspected as per quality management system. Completion of GMP documentation in accordance with applicable procedures. Participate in regulatory audits and inspections. Support Management of the annual maintenance programme of all non-production equipment and plant facilities. Support capital expenditure projects and budget preparation for plant maintenance department including project costing. Conduct cost benefit and feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality of processes and support project justifications. Partner with cross-functional teams from Operations, H&S, Quality, Process Development, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain on a wide range of projects. Update documentation via documentation control system. Drive energy reductions across the plant. Ensure any Intellectual Property aspects of development are identified and protected in conjunction with the Corporate Legal group. Participate in the site Continuous Improvement Programme. Ensure work is completed in a compliant manner with regard to both execution and documentation. Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time. Experience and Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or National Craft Certificate together with additional specialised training and experience. Familiarity with Building Management System. Strong engineering background with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough knowledge of engineering principles of plant equipment - AHU's, chillers, steam boilers, pumps, HVAC, and water system management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly collaborative work style. Strong planning and organizational ability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Track record in Project Management.
