Job Summary: Ensure smooth operation of facilities and building systems in Ireland manufacturing plant.
Maintain and improve facility systems, including process water, HVAC, clean room, boiler, power, gas, water supply, compressed air, building maintenance, fire protection, sanitary, and janitorial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead system upgrading and improvement projects, including validation requirements
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maintain and improve facilities and building systems reliability
Review and recommend improvements to facilities and building systems for equipment capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency
Lead cross-functional operations and quality teams to resolve facilities system or quality-related issues
Monitor and analyze facilities and building systems capacity and reliability, and recommend improvements
Review, approve, and assign day-to-day tasks to technicians to maintain facilities reliability and support internal customers' requests
Monitor and maintain facilities systems and procedures to comply with regulatory, quality, and EHS requirements
Identify and recommend maintenance and service contracts
Achieve plant EHS goals by monitoring technicians' work to ensure it is performed safely
Provide training and guidance to facilities technicians to achieve department goals for facilities and building systems reliability
Review, establish, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Prepare and participate in quality and EHS audits
Participate in annual budgeting process and ensure spending meets objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in medical-related industries with good engineering background on facilities and building systems
Desirable Skills:
