**Senior Fiber Delivery Engineer** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fiber Delivery Engineer to join our Cloud Interconnection + Acquisitions (CI+A) Team, responsible for building a world-class network infrastructure. **Job Description** As a Senior Fiber Delivery Engineer, you will contribute to delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, One Drive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work with Metro Dark Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, and subsea to build a global network infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** • Act as the Senior Technical Lead for the region, providing guidance and serving as a reference for colleagues • Provide commercial team support, offering technical expertise and drawings for diversity, identification POE and internal routing to termination points • Manage cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, including civils, permitting, cable overpulls, and overlaying with E2E schedule • Conduct quality assurance inspections, remote or by traveling to sites, and manage remediation activities with suppliers and independent 3rd party Fiber Characterization Team • Review fiber characterization results and ensure they are within Microsoft Core Fiber Standards, producing as-build documentation including technical schematics **Requirements** • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, technical program management, or telecommunications, or equivalent experience • Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements • Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter **Benefits** • Flexible workplace, with the option to work from home partially or fully and/or come to the office on an as-needed basis • Opportunities for career growth and development, including Career Rotation Programs, Diversity & Inclusion trainings and events, and professional certifications • Collaborative and inclusive work environment, with a focus on respect, integrity, and accountability **About Microsoft** Microsoft is an inclusive employer and a member of the LGBTQ+ business community.
