Your new company Join a Cork-based Pharmaceutical with a considerable presence in Cork including a manufacturing site and a SSC. Your new role Report to an experienced Finance Director within the SSC that has ownership of all regions outside the USA. This is a broad role, there is complexity and, yes, it's challenging but very rewarding. This Senior Finance Manager job will involve managing stakeholder relationships across multiple regions, Manage the Month End close, P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation and resolution. Ensure ledger integrity and financial compliance all applicable laws and regulations. Ensure financial records are in compliance with GAAP. Support, lead and manage the team. Developing your team involves recruitment, retention, motivation, performance management and development of your team. Contribute to the strategic focus and lead key priorities of the company. Manage with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits. Coordination of Balance Sheet Reviews with the relevant EMEA Controller and Market Finance Leads for respective Market. Responsible for supporting and reviewing the Statutory Accounting Activities of a number of entities. What you'll need to succeed You must be an experienced finance professional, qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CPA with 8+ years experience with a multinational company. Proven people leadership and management skills are pre-requisite for success in this position.
