Job Description

**Senior Finance Manager** A highly skilled finance professional is required to lead the accounts department, drive financial growth, and implement process improvements in a dynamic and ambitious business. Reports to CFO, Dublin 9 (Hybrid) **Responsibilities:** * Manage month-end process and timetable to meet reporting deadlines * Prepare consolidated month-end accounts and reporting pack, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and KPIs * Investigate variances versus budget and prior year, and provide commentaries * Implement robust procedures to ensure accuracy of accruals and reported figures * Manage cash balances to ensure cash accumulation in accordance with bank covenants * Maintain weekly cashflow forecast to plan for future cashflows * Organise external audit timetable with auditors and manage audit work program and audit queries * Implement internal control recommendations and prepare corporation tax computation and filing * Manage AP and AR teams to ensure best practice is implemented * Performance management and review of KPIs * Management of finance team, including performance appraisals and recruitment **Candidate Attributes:** * Qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen * Held a similar position in a successful business with growth at a pace * Strong financial management skills through business growth, reviewed and driven continuous improvement of processes, controls, reporting, and IT systems * Experienced people manager who enjoys motivating, developing, and managing their people in a fast-moving and changing business * Excellent communicator and influencer with broad business skills **Role Requirements:** * Professional accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience * Staff management and previous experience managing a financial function * Extensive understanding of Finance and IT systems, including required controls * Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills * Proven track-record in implementing process improvements and change management * Strong communications and people management skills * Good technical accounting knowledge * Strong Excel and IT skills * Proactive, ambitious, and energetic
