We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager for our client, a leading healthcare organisation in Ireland The Role As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Accounts department, you will have responsibility for the internal control systems and for delivery of the monthly management accounts The Person The Finance Manager will be a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen. They will have held a similar position in a successful business which has grown at pace. They will have strong financial management skills through business growth, reviewed and driven continuous improvement of processes, controls, reporting and IT systems. The Finance Manager will be an experienced people manager who enjoys motivating, developing and managing their people in a fast moving and changing business. They will be an excellent communicator and influencer who has broad business skills who will enjoy being a key member of an ambitious management team. Professional accountancy qualification (ACA /ACCA /CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. Staff management and previous experience managing a financial function. Extensive understanding of Finance and IT systems including required controls Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills Proven track-record in implementing process improvements and change management Strong communications and people management skills Good technical accounting knowledge Strong Excel and IT skills Proactive, ambitious and energetic To apply, or for a more detailed job description, please use the link below.
