A new role is available for a Senior Accountant – Financial Services for a multinational organization in Dublin City Centre (1/2 days in office). The role of the Finance & Control SLA Operations AVP is to carry out the necessary tasks pertaining to the activities of the Business as Usual (BAU) functions. The AVP will be directed by the Team Lead & Head of SLA Ops to perform tasks as necessary to meet all deadlines and objectives of the pool of work assigned to the team.In this role, the salary is roughly €70,000 range DOE plus benefits including 10% pension and bonus and flexible hybrid working from the IFSC based office.Key Responsibilities:Collection of relevant underlying expense data from THEMIS and various service providing departments.Liaison with the Expenses team to acquire relevant expense forecasts and data.Collection and maintenance of allocation key data, gathered from various departments.Assessment of allocation keys and departments, considering the addition or deletion of departments and the reasonableness of the applicable allocation keys.Calculation of charges by applying allocation keys to expense data and evaluating the cost of each SLA.Comparison of figures to previous quarterly, half-year, or yearly data to identify significant differences for investigation.VAT categorization of charges under advice from local finance teams/advisors in the EMEA locations.Collection of relevant revenue data from THEMIS and various departments for Advanced Pricing Agreement (APA) Fee.Manual updates of revenue data to calculate applicable monthly APA fees, conducting investigations for recognized anomalies.Preparation of Monthly Control Sheet.Preparation of Monthly journals for SLA accrual journal posting.Key Requirements:The ability to clearly communicate to senior management both verbally and in writing.High proficiency with Excel.Experience in intercompany accounting processes and controls.Attention to detail & accuracy – Right first time confirms the quality of their own work and that of others.Flexibility – displays speed and flexibility, able to manage changing priorities.Share knowledge and expertise particularly within the SLA Operations team.If you are interested in this Senior Financial Accountant – Financial Services role, please apply through the link.This role is managed by Walters People entity, which is a temporary recruitment agency.About the Job:Contract Type: FULL_TIMESpecialism: Accountancy & FinanceWorkplace Type: HybridExperience Level: AssociateLocation: DublinSalary: €65,000 - €70,000 per annum + Bonus, 10% pensionJob Reference: A4FV6F-EFDE80C6Date posted: 13 September 2024Consultant: Niall Thomas #J-18808-Ljbffr
