A new role is available for a Senior Accountant - Financial Services for a multinational organisation in Dublin City Centre (1/2 days in office). The role of the Finance & Control SLA Operations AVP is to carry out the necessary tasks pertaining to the activities of the Business as Usual (BAU) functions. The AVP will be directed by the Team Lead & Head of SLA Ops to perform tasks as necessary to meet all deadlines and objectives of the pool of work assigned to the team. In this role salary is roughly €70,000 range DOE plus benefits including 10% pension and bonusand flexible hybrid working from the IFSC based office. Key requirements of the Senior Financial Accountant - Financial Services Collection of relevant underlying expense data from THEMIS, and various service providing departments. Liaison with Expenses team to acquire relevant expense forecasts and data Collection and maintenance of allocation key data. These keys are in most cases gathered from the various departments. To assess the allocation keys and departments and consider if new departments required to be added or deleted and reasonableness of the applicable allocation keys for each department. * Calculation of charges - applying the allocation keys to the expense data and evaluating cost of each SLA Comparison of figures to previous quarterly, half year or yearly to identify significant differences, which may need to be investigated and explained. Vat categorization of charges (under advice from local finance teams / advisors in the EMEA locations) Advanced Pricing Agreement (APA) Fee - Collection of relevant revenue data from THEMIS and various departments. Advanced Pricing Agreement (APA) Fee - manually update the revenue data to calculate applicable monthly APA fees. Where applicable conduct investigations if anomalies are recognized. Present findings to F&C colleagues where applicable. Preparation of Monthly Control Sheet. Preparation of Monthly journals for SLA accrual journal posting Key requirements of the Senior Financial Accountant - Financial Services Accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) The ability to clearly communicate to senior management both verbally and in writing High proficiency with excel.
