Senior Financial Accountant role in North Cork, Ireland, with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a qualified accountant with 4+ years PQE and strong IT/financial systems knowledge.
You will play a pivotal role within the Group Finance Function, offering financial guidance and leadership, generating consolidated management accounts, board reports, and other relevant insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for various legal entities, both domestic and international.
- Handling VAT, CT filings, and collaborating with tax advisors.
- Reviewing financial submissions from divisions.
- Generating consolidated monthly management accounts and board reports.
- Creating cash flow projections, forecasts, and divisional reports.
- Overseeing balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assisting Heads of Functions with cost assessments.
- Compiling annual financial statements and reports for the business.
- Managing budgets for the Group.
- Drafting and reviewing Group Finance policies.
- Contributing to process improvement and ad hoc projects.
- Coordinating with internal and external audit teams.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA & CIMA) with minimum 4 years PQE.
- Strong IT/financial systems knowledge, Oracle advantageous.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.
