Senior Financial Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid - North Cork Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with an established Irish company based in North Cork who are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their team, reporting to the Group Finance Manager. You will play a pivotal role within the Group Finance Function, offering financial guidance and leadership. The responsibilities of this role encompass generating consolidated management accounts, board reports, and other relevant insights. This is a full-time opportunity located in North Cork, with the added flexibility of hybrid work arrangements. Key responsibilities for this role consist of: Preparing statutory accounts for various legal entities, both domestic and international. Handling VAT, CT filings, and collaborating with tax advisors. Reviewing financial submissions from divisions. Generating consolidated monthly management accounts and board reports. Creating cash flow projections, forecasts, and divisional reports. Overseeing balance sheet account reconciliations. Assisting Heads of Functions with cost assessments. Compiling annual financial statements and reports for the business. Managing budgets for the Group. Drafting and reviewing Group Finance policies. Contributing to process improvement and ad hoc projects. Coordinating with internal and external audit teams. What you will need: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA & CIMA) with minimum 4 years PQE. Strong IT/financial systems knowledge, Oracle advantageous. Self-motivated with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Commercial awareness and business acumen.
