We are EVERSANA.Job DescriptionTHE POSITION:The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting transactions and reconciliations including posting entries to the general ledger, analyzing data, managing month-end close processes and collaborating with employees throughout the organization. This position also works with third party auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:Initially reviewing and documenting close activity for recently acquired entitiesResponsibility for meeting established month end close deadlines for preparing journal entries across multiple jurisdictions.Leading the resolution of issues on all assigned accounts and reconciliations to ensure proper and accurate reporting.Overseeing compliance activity and supporting other departments in relation to GL activity and review.Preparing consolidated reports for the business.Preparing audit schedules and working with auditors on queries.Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting controls, procedures and policies.Identifying opportunities and making recommendations for process and cost improvements.Assisting global team with consolidation processes throughout the close period.Supporting deployment of D365 to European entitiesAssisting with M&A activity.Serving as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed.Performing ad hoc projects and duties as required.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:Travel: Ad hoc but infrequentHours: 40 Hours per week, 5 days of the weekQualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.Education: Qualified / Finalist accountantExperience and/or Training: Minimum of 3-5 years in an accounting role. Multinational experience in a shared services environment.Technology/Equipment: Experience in the use of complex spreadsheets and accounting systems (D365).Capable of communicating across all levels within the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
