Job Description
Senior Financial Accountant role for a qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE, requiring expertise in financial accounting, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on property development.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly accounts for multiple entities
- Full ownership of balance sheet control and reconciliation
- Preparing statutory financial statements for Irish and UK entities
- Management of insurance renewal process
- Statutory reporting responsibilities in Ireland, UK and other jurisdictions as required
- Analysis of technical accounting matters
- Financial accounting aspects of merger, liquidation, dissolution and rationalisation of entities
- Review of offshore entities' accounts and establishing regular and robust reporting
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
Key skills and knowledge required:
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified accountant
- Self-motivated and hard-working individual who is goal oriented
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Willingness to take responsibility and ownership for your work
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
