**Senior Financial Accountant** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the operations of the business and transport operators, managing daily working capital, and preparing and presenting monthly management accounts. **About the Role:** * Prepare, enhance, and present monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and KPIs for management, internal, and external stakeholders * Prepare financial analysis, provide reporting expertise, and financial support * Support the annual budget process and consolidation of inputs from various stakeholders and scheme units * Effectively deliver and enhance daily working capital management and processes * Completion of weekly, monthly, and annual controls and assist in development and enhancement of control procedures and matrices * Ensure efficiency and timeliness in business banking operations, including preparation of/overseeing settlements, management of direct debit process, and customer refunds process * Support and contribute to foreseeable financial system transitions across all business sections * Ensure high-quality and up-to-date procedure documents are maintained for areas of responsibility and across the finance team operation * Ensure maintenance of daily systems and internal controls * Support the finance manager and leadership * Support and manage audit assignments performed by internal and external audit and other regulatory bodies * Manage queries from various stakeholders in a timely manner * Support and lead team cross-training * Project lead on process improvement and enhancement **Requirements:** * Qualified Accountant (CA or equivalent) * Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience * Strong attention to detail * Strong Excel skills * Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines * Strong communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment * Experience of a PLC, audit, or GDPR environment is desirable **What We Offer:** * Competitive remuneration package * Comprehensive Total Rewards package, including support for flexible working and career development * Opportunities for career progression and professional growth * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to training and development programs * Flexible working arrangements * Hybrid working options * Wellness programs and employee assistance programs * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance
