Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a part qualified accountant or a newly qualified accountant to join an established group that is expanding and diversifying. Be part of a growing team involved in the Leisure & Hospitality industry in Dublin City Centre.

This role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller:

  • Assist and support Group FC with implementing the financial strategy of the company.
  • Cash flow management, balance sheet management and financial reporting of the company.
  • Completion of monthly management accounts including P&L accounts, KPI's and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide financial analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of actuals and forecasts.
  • Management of a variable budget with continuous updates.
  • Assist in the development and use of best-practice policies, practices and tools that ensure a well-controlled, yet flexible, organisation.
  • Ensure the production of timely, accurate and relevant financial reports to facilitate understanding and analysis of the business.
  • Manage effective day to day running on the finance function.
  • Upholds a high level of regular, frequent, accurate and timely communication to all related departments.
  • Management of Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Month End Closing; Payroll; Creditors Payments.
  • Ad-hoc financial reporting as required from time to time.
  • Providing financial leadership to all Department across the Group, to drive better business results and operating efficiencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax obligations.
  • Ensuring effective internal controls are in place across the entire Finance Department.
  • Management of Annual Audit.

Key Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required
  • Newly Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA) or part qualified with minimum two years industry experience
  • Strong business acumen and business partnering skills
  • High degree of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability required
  • Must be detailed-oriented and deadline sensitive
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Competent communication skills
  • Experience managing and coaching junior staff

Salary:

  • Part Qualified €50 – €55k
  • New Qualified €60 – €65k
  • Performance Based Bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
