Job Title: Financial Accountant Reports to: Group Financial Controller Location: Based in Citywest - Hybrid Working Model Job Purpose The Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and tracking the daily cash movement and maintenance of the Groups bank accounts. The role will encompass the day-to-day treasury management and cashflow planning ensuring all banking and hospital cash requirements are efficiently met, factoring in working capital requirements whilst ensuring detailed forecasts and maximising any surplus cash The post holder will work closely with the Head of Shared Services to support the overall objective of successful management of the Treasury and Cash Management operations in a Finance Shared Services environment. Be involved with the successful establishment of the Treasury Management Function under the Finance Shared Services model. Manage the Group bank accounts, bank authorisations and perform daily banking operations while ensuring oversight of all cash management systems and processes. Manage the iBB approval process in conformance with the iBB framework and act as local administrator for iBB. Provide oversight and guidance on Group payments to third parties with online banking facilities. Develop strong working relationship with Revenue Cycle Function, integrating cash targets with Debtor KPIs and continuously monitoring Revenue Cycle payments by Payor. In conjunction with the Head of Finance Shared Service, establish cash management reports to analyse, manage and report Treasury and Cash Management costs | budgets. Qualified Financial or Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) Minimum 3 years post qualified experience Evidence of continuing professional development Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or equivalent in a similar role Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft office packages Strong technical accounting knowledge, with an ability to perform detail-orientated work Self-starter with a strong degree of self-sufficiency Accounting experience in a healthcare environment or large complex organisation Benefits: pension
