Accounting Professional Wanted


Seeking a qualified accountant to manage financial accounts, journals, and general ledger, with a focus on month-end reporting and analysis.

This role requires close collaboration with the Head of Finance, Business Controller, and Heads of Departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing journals and general ledger to ensure timely completion of month-end process
  • Capturing COGS in the manufacturing process to support Gross Margin analysis
  • Reviewing overheads on a monthly basis
  • Providing accurate month-end reports to support management accounts process
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts
  • Managing customer rebates and discounts
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance
  • Contributing to the development of new accounting and ERP systems, programs, and procedures
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax returns
  • Performing ad-hoc finance projects and other related duties as assigned
  • Supporting cash management process and preparing rolling cash flow statement
  • Maintaining currency

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant from a recognized accountancy body
  • Experience working with ERP systems is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP/IFRS
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Appreciation of information systems, processes, and applications, including Business Intelligence software
