Job Description
In this Senior Financial Accountant role, you will be part of a Global Finance Team responsible for US GAAP reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, and process improvement. You will work on-site 3 days a week and remotely 2 days a week, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts in US GAAP to tight reporting deadlines
- Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for all accounts in line with SOX Controls and group reconciliations procedures
- Budgeting, including the redesign of the budget process and partnering with budget owners
- Managing finance processes and controls across various locations, providing training and guidance where needed
- Assisting with Company Internal Audit, External Audit requirements, and Tax/VAT audits
- Reducing manual accounting processes through automation and system reliance
- Leading the annual statutory audit for Ireland and Germany
- Liaising with in-country fiscal representatives for VAT returns in over 22 countries
- Guiding and training Finance Administrative staff on the Performance Development program
Requirements include:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent accountancy qualification
- Minimum 3 years PQE
- Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and management skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with emphasis on planning and deadlines
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate to advanced Excel and Access skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP System or similar system
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
