Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a property development business as a Senior Financial Accountant. This would be a brilliant role for a big 4 trained accountant who is looking to build a career in the property industry. Responsibilities Preparation of monthly accounts for multiple entities. Full ownership of balance sheet control and reconciliation. Preparation of statutory financial statements for Irish and UK entities. Management of insurance renewal process. Statutory reporting responsibilities in Ireland, UK and other jurisdictions as required Analysis of technical accounting matters. Financial accounting aspects of merger, liquidation, dissolution and rationalisation of entities. Review of offshore entities' accounts and establishing regular and robust reporting. Liaise with internal and external auditors Work with a local and globally based Finance team to drive systems change and process improvement initiatives. Work on projects and tasks with local Finance, Tax, Legal and Treasury teams as necessary. Required Skills and Knowledge ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE Self-motivated and hard-working individual who is goal oriented. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Willingness to take responsibility and ownership for your work.
