Barden are delighted to be partnering with a luxury retailer in Cork City who are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their expanding and close-knit team.This is an ideal city centre role for someone who enjoys working in a team setting and in a collaborative environment where there’s always a good atmosphere.ABOUT THE ROLE:Responsible for completion of monthly close process and related analysis and commentary as required.Preparation of annual budget and work with senior leadership to monitor and control spend.Provide monthly variance analysis to actuals for management review.Support Payroll, Accounts Payable & Purchasing function.Ensure inventory is valued correctly and in line with Company policies.Participate in the preparation of the Company’s annual financial statements and audits where required.Involvement in budgeting & business planning; evaluating future business opportunities.Participate in cross functional process improvement initiatives.ABOUT THE PERSON:Qualified accountant ideally with 2/3 years PQE.Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with senior leadership team.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the organisation.Self-motivated with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail.Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Collaborative approach to work effectively within cross-functional teams.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Please get in touch with Marissa Maher in Barden (marissa.maher@barden.ie) to discuss further.Apply with your CV. #J-18808-Ljbffr
