Semi State Body have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, on a Fixed Term Contract initially leading to Permanency. This position is hybrid working in the Dublin office. The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will assist in managing the financial control requirements of the infrastructure business, covering budgetary control, financial planning, and financial forecast management. Key Responsibilities Preparation, maintenance, and updating of reports, models, and associated processes including period end, budget & forecast reconciliation Periodic reports on business performance, revenue, payroll. Budget, forecast & 5-year planning preparation, uploading, and reconciliation Completion of periodic stock turn for IM Business Unit Analysis and preparation of periodic accruals Produce periodic variance analysis reports Periodic review of balance sheet accounts Ensure effective internal controls operate within the Business Unit Identify & document improvements to control processes & procedures Preparation and completion of financial year-end tasks including stock obsolescence, leave provisions, odd days, bad debts Response to audit queries from external, internal, and PSO audits Engage and contribute to user acceptance testing Update and maintenance of labour appropriation codes in SAP Project System Provide information in accordance with the agreed reporting calendar Third-party contract financial management Management of Property Revenues Completion of periodic road fleet settlements Qualifications & Experience required Professional Accounting Qualification with 5 years PQE Proven IT skills & knowledge, specifically SAP FI/CO, MM Excellent skills in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills Ability to lead and take ownership of projects Ability to work to strict timelines with a strong delivery/execution focus Demonstrated ability in preparing high-quality, timely, and consistent financial reports for internal and external use Experience with Data Analysis Knowledge of SAP Project System modules Experience in FP&A and other financial planning tools For more information contact Elaine Liston in Sanderson on or apply online for more information.
