Senior Front End Engineer role for a leading multinational financial services provider in Galway/Hybrid, requiring 4+ years of software development experience and expertise in Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript.
Our client is a leading multinational financial services provider seeking an experienced Senior Front-end Engineer to help build a user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support their digital presence.
As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will craft, own, build, and support features at every stage of the software development lifecycle for a world-class web experience. Your ideas will improve products, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Angular 12+, RxJS, Redux/NgRx, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with micro front-end architecture patterns
- Expertise with test automation tools and frameworks, e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and Storybook
- Curiosity for engineering problems
- A passion for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-first development approach
- Experience developing features for web experiences using Angular and Microservices in NodeJS/NestJS/GraphQL
- A drive to contribute back into the team by developing solutions that help improve developer efficiency or sharing knowledge about new techniques and technologies
