Job Description
Senior Angular Developer sought for EMEA Regulatory Reporting platform, responsible for delivering critical finance regulatory projects in the region.
We are looking for a highly skilled full stack developer with a strong ability to build business-critical systems, with emphasis on stability and performance. The ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative team working on some of the most critical projects within Finance Tech.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions operations.
- Work in an Agile team based structure following SCRUM practices.
- Collaborate with Information Technology staff, business, and FLUs through the phases of design, coding and implementation of application and infrastructure changes/enhancements.
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
- Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
Core skills:
- Highly skilled at front-end engineering using a modern client-side technology stack that includes Angular 2 – 7 and CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SASS.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest).
- Experience with REST APIs, generics and Angular best practices.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with relational DBs.
- Experience in Continuous Integration build/deployment and toolsets.
- Experience with Unit Test Frameworks.
- Experience with Linux including shell scripting.
