We are looking for a versatile and customer-obsessed Software Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing and developing next-generation products and services in Mastercard for a global audience.

\u2022 Lead planning, design, and implementation of technical solutions for global customers (internal and external).
\u2022 Design, build, roll out, and maintain UI components and patterns that will be used with multiple teams.
\u2022 Continually ideate, scope, develop, deliver, test, and iterate features for the constantly evolving and growing API Platform.
\u2022 Contribute to Mastercard Open Source projects.
\u2022 Ensure appropriate levels of automation are adopted (build, deploy, configure, validate, monitor).
\u2022 Teach and mentor junior engineers and other team members.
\u2022 As an SME on frontend technologies, teams will look up to you for guidance.
\u2022 Liaise with other global technology, storage, and operations teams to execute.
\u2022 Act as subject matter expert for API Platform and services to support customer integrations on occasion.

Requirements:\u2022 6+ years professional, hands-on, frontend application development experience.
\u2022 Expert React ES6 Javascript and Typescript skills including areas of functional and asynchronous programming.
\u2022 Expert CSS development knowledge and experience with both native and using frameworks e.g.
\u2022 bootstrap, tailwind, mui, etc.
\u2022 Strong working knowledge of Node.js, NPM, Webpack, and Jest.
\u2022 Knowledge of Next JS, Jamstack (Hugo) is preferred.
\u2022 Demonstrable experience in building interactive web applications with polished, good looking, consistent, responsive, and accessible UI/UX.
\u2022 Proven track record in web application development.
\u2022 Strong fundamentals of working with APIs.
\u2022 You care about the technical architecture and design - ensuring that the solution is flexibly designed and performs efficiently.
\u2022 Experienced working in an Agile environment with a global team that makes frequent production releases.
\u2022 Background in Dev/Ops a distinct advantage.
\u2022 Background in automation a distinct advantage.
