Senior Software Developer-Full Stack The Senior Software Developer will play a critical role within the IT department of a global well established company in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent full stack opportunity for an experienced C#/.NET/Database developer to join the existing and well established SCRUM Team and contribute your skills with lots of autonomy. This role will involve responsibilities across the design and development of Windows and web-based applications. Strong skills in React front end and .Net core building API`s are required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Interpret business requirements and design solutions that are correctly implemented. Provide work estimates to support project planning activities. Design low-maintenance, scalable software solutions aligned with business needs. Reduce technical debt where applicable. Participate in SCRUM rituals as part of a high-performing SCRUM Team. Liaise with system owners to ensure impacts are understood, documented, and mitigated. Develop solutions following industry best practices and standards. Work in a quality-first environment, ensuring a clean code base and proper testing with the test team. Support users through User Acceptance Testing. Deploy solutions carefully, with contingency planning in mind. Participate in Release Management, Runbook, and Hypercare support. Collaborate with IT colleagues from Architecture, Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Test, and Digital Operations. Document technical designs, constraints, and code to aid in knowledge sharing and cross-training. Ensure compliance with all organizational, legal, regulatory, and department standards, including security and compliance requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, and COMPETENCIES Educational/Experience Degree in software engineering, computing, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in a Software Engineer/Developer role. Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Agile development experience is preferred. Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, eager to improve and optimize team performance. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Technical/Functional Expertise in C# ASP.NET MVC frameworks. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery. Experience with Visual Studio .NET. Proficient with relational databases such as Oracle SQL or SQL Server. Experience building responsive websites, with UI design expertise. Experience writing .NET Web Services and consuming Web APIs. Experience with back-end C# Unit Testing and front-end technologies like React, Bootstrap, and CSS. Good understanding of AWS or Azure cloud environments. Proficient in version control systems (branching, merging, etc.). Strong time management and organizational skills.
