Senior Functional CE ConsultantDepartment: Biz Apps - CEEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: DublinDescriptionThe Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform Senior Functional Consultant role requires a consultative approach and involves developing and delivering best-in-class functionality, solution envisioning and design, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The consultant will be integral to both project delivery and the pre-sales process, providing expert guidance and support across various domains that may include Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Field Service, Power Pages and Power Apps.The Senior Functional Consultant candidate should be able to lead a team of consultants within a larger project, be confident to voice their opinion to their peers and be a contributor and evangelist of functional principles and standards within their team.While reporting to the project Solution Architect or Functional Principle, the Senior Functional Consultant will be a key member of the team whom Functional Consultants will immediately look to for guidance, advice, support and leadership.Capable of working on their own or as part of a wider team, the candidate for this role will have several years of functional consultancy behind them, covering aspects such as running customer facing workshops, creating solution and high-level design docs, collaborating with project stakeholders such as customer Solution Architects, managing ADO and agile sprint teams, creating and delivering both project and pre-sales related demos, liaising closely with internal PMs and SAs, setting customer expectations and controlling scope.As a Senior Functional Consultant in Codec, one can expect to work on the latest cutting-edge projects with ‘best-in-industry’ consultants that continually challenge each other to bring out their best. This will enable the right leader to engage with your peers to inspire, lead, mentor and contribute to the success of your colleagues’ career progression, which is highly rewarding.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem ManagementCapable of managing all aspects of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system.Take ownership of the end-to-end CRM process encompassing functionality such as Power Pages, Power Apps, Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, and Field Service.Solution Development and DeliveryDevelop and deliver best-in-class functionality aligning with the latest best practices and standards.Implement cutting-edge solutions using Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.Provide high-quality documentation such as HLD, SDD, FDD, RDD.Provide mentoring and guidance on the usage of ADO and Agile methodologies.Provide leadership to a team of functional consultants.Communicate with business stakeholders and internal BAs, QAs, FPs, PMs and SAs to ensure the solution design meets business requirements.Relationship ManagementMaintain a “Trusted Advisor” relationship with customers.Identify opportunities for additional project work within the Microsoft CRM practice and other Codec teams.Key involvement in demonstrations, workshops and high-level client delivery - listening to client requirements and delivering accordingly.Provide input to tenders and bids during the pre-sales process.Prototype and demo solutions to potential customers.Team Collaboration and DevelopmentWork with senior members of the CE Practice.Develop and implement operational improvements within the team.Assist in project planning, including estimating effort and allocating tasks.Risk Management and EvaluationIdentify project risks.Participate in defining risk mitigation and control activities.Evaluate new products and 3rd party components.Assess their fitness for purpose when the need arises.Skills, Knowledge and Experience5+ years’ experience as a consultant with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform.Proficient in solution design and implementation using various Microsoft technologies.Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management.Ability to maintain trusted advisory relationships and identify further project opportunities.Experience in agile and waterfall development environments.Proven track record in resource management and team mentoring.Commitment to maintaining lean, relevant documentation.Recent certifications in D365 CE/PP related modules.Confident communicator/presenter with ability to manage customer/stakeholder relationships.Comfortable leading workshops and working in a customer facing role.Ability to delegate effectively while being responsible for delivery of the task.Team player who encourages and mentors other team members.Act in an open and transparent manner.Highly organised and strong documentation ability.High level of initiative and exudes a pro-active nature that sets the behavioural example to their peers.BenefitsHealth InsurancePension Contributions #J-18808-Ljbffr
