Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Fund Accountant to join their team, focusing on the administration of private equity funds. The role involves various aspects of fund accounting, reporting, and communication with key stakeholders. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly net asset valuations. Compile year-end and semi-annual financial statements. Manage investment reporting and liaise with investment managers, custodians, auditors, and regulators. Oversee shareholder services including the issuance of notices and monthly statements. Prepare legal, tax, and regulatory returns. Participate in ad-hoc projects related to fund administration. Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks such as ISAE 3402. Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process. Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Fund Accounting role. A business-related third-level qualification. Part-qualified or interest in pursuing an accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and effectively communicate both in writing and orally. Desirable Skills: Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran. Previous experience in private equity fund administration. Educational Requirements: A business-related third-level degree or equivalent.
