Qualified Accountant sought for Senior Financial Reporting role in Limerick. Prepare and review financial statements, drive client service culture, and work with audit firms. Essential skills include Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS experience, strong communication, and IT proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with current accounting and regulatory requirements.
Drive a client service culture among staff and ensure all clients receive a quality service.
Work closely with audit firms and facilitate technical briefs and updates for the department.
Represent the Financial Reporting team at relevant meetings as required.
Identify training and development needs and establish performance standards for the department.
Assist team members in the resolution of non-routine and complex financial reporting issues.
Liaise with Compliance and other relevant internal stakeholders where required.
Key Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant
Proven experience in the investment management industry
Financial reporting experience
Strong communication, presentation, and client-servicing skills
Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS experience
Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting
